Now then,
How are the aches, pains and hangovers lads and lasses?
It's been a good few weeks' games. Away win to Darlo II, narrow loss to a good West Hartlepool II, excellent win against Guisborough II at home and now a fantastic win against a quality Middlesbrough A/III team.
We're currently second in our league - not forgetting this is a league above last season - and surely we should see this as a massive achievement; one to build on.
Any thoughts folks? I reckon that we've got a great defence on which to build the other aspects of our game, and that's certainly a solid start. Communication and teamwork is definitely coming along too. We were defending for maybe 60mins all in against a well-drilled Boro side who fancied their chances - they were good at shifting the point of attack, had some quality backs and some dangerous runners in the forwards too. Points conceded: none. Well done one and all.
We've got Redcar II the coming weekend...let's make it to training and make it 3 in a row.
